Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

UA E-Services is an Islamic companion app for Pakistani and Muslim users worldwide, offering prayer times, the Holy Quran, duas, the 99 Names of Allah, news, market rates, and everyday tools. This policy explains, in plain words, what information the app handles and what it never touches.

Our promise: your data stays yours. UA E-Services does not collect, store, or sell your personal information. There are no user accounts, no analytics trackers, and no ads in the app.

1Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect any personal data from you. The app works fully without sign-up, and we run no analytics or tracking of any kind. Specifically, we never collect:

  • Name, email address, or phone number — there are no accounts or logins in the app.
  • Location history — your location is used only on your device, at the moment you need it, and is never recorded or sent to us.
  • Contacts, photos, or files — the app never accesses your personal content.
  • Advertising IDs — the app contains no ads and no advertising SDKs.

Because we collect nothing, we have nothing to share, sell, or lose.

2Information Stored on Your Device

To make the app useful day to day, a few settings are saved locally on your phone only. This information never leaves your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else. It includes:

  • App preferences — your chosen settings, such as calculation method and notification choices.
  • Prayer settings — your selected location and reminder preferences for prayer times.
  • Reading progress — bookmarks and your last-read position in the Holy Quran.
  • Tasbih counts — your digital counter totals and daily dhikr progress.

All of this stays on your device. If you uninstall the app, everything is deleted permanently and automatically.

3Permissions

The app asks only for the permissions it genuinely needs. Each one is optional, and you can turn any of them off at any time in your phone’s settings:

  • Location Used to calculate accurate prayer times for where you are and to show the Qibla direction. Your location stays on your device and is never stored or shared.
  • Notifications Used to send prayer-time reminders and, if you enable them, news alerts. You choose which notifications you receive.
  • Exact alarms (Android 12+) Used so prayer reminders arrive exactly on time, even when your phone is resting.
  • Internet Used to fetch prayer times, load news, and update market rates. The app sends no personal information when it connects.

4Third-Party Services

The app connects to a small number of trusted services to fetch public information. These services receive only the technical request needed to respond — never your personal data:

  • Aladhan API — provides prayer times and Hijri calendar data.
  • News RSS feeds — headlines and articles are loaded from public news feeds.
  • Market data sources — provide currency, gold, and crypto rates shown in the app.
  • Web3Forms — used only if you choose to send us a feature request through the app’s request form; it delivers the message you write to us.

We do not sell data to anyone, and the app shows no advertisements. Each third-party service also operates under its own privacy policy.

5Children’s Privacy

UA E-Services does not collect personal data from anyone — including children. The app has no accounts, no chat, and no features that ask a child (or any user) to enter personal information. Families can use the app’s Quran, duas, and learning content with confidence.

6Data Security

Because your information lives only on your device, there is no central database of user data that could be breached or leaked. All connections between the app and the services it uses are protected with HTTPS encryption, so the public information the app fetches (prayer times, news, market rates) travels securely.

7Your Rights

You stay in full control at all times. You can:

  • Disable any permission — turn off location, notifications, or exact alarms in your phone’s settings whenever you like.
  • Clear app data — erase all locally stored preferences, bookmarks, and counts from your phone’s app settings.
  • Uninstall the app — removing the app deletes everything it stored on your device, completely and permanently.

No request to us is needed for any of this — because we hold none of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

8Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this Privacy Policy, the new version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date at the top. We encourage you to check this page from time to time. Any change will continue to respect the core promise of this app: no personal data collection, no ads, and no selling of information.
